Taught on-site at Larry Pile Glass Studio, this highly interactive course will introduce the participants to fine silver metal clay. This class, taught by certified metal clay artist Kara Brown, will cover all the basics of working with metal clay, including the steps to create, refine and fire your clay into beautiful pieces of fine silver jewelry to wear home.
During the class you will learn about the different types of metal clay on the market today and how to handle, condition, hydrate, and store your clay.
All of the tools, supplies, etc will be provided. class fee includes enough fine silver clay for a pair of earrings and a pendant in the design of your choosing.
Optional: Pearls and small gemstones will be available for purchase to add to your jewelry if desired.
